Advocare Tender Loving Care Pediatrics, formerly TLC Pediatrics, was founded more than 3 decades ago. The practice was established upon the principle of providing excellent care to infants, children, adolescents, and young adults. As a small practice, we are able to get to know the families we care for very well. This gives us an opportunity to provide continuity of care that is both personalized and thorough, with a focus on our patient’s individual needs.
Our practice offers comprehensive care from infancy to young adulthood. We provide preventive services including well checkups, developmental assessments, exercise and nutritional guidance, as well as screening for emotional, behavioral, and educational issues. We follow treatment and wellness practice guidelines approved by the American Academy of Pediatrics. Hence, we are strong advocates for routine childhood vaccinations. In addition to preventive medicine, we reserve time in our daily schedule for same-day visits so sick children can be cared for in a timely manner. Our experienced providers are highly trained to evaluate and manage acute and chronic illnesses with compassion and confidence.
Our warm and friendly staff creates a comfortable and welcoming environment so that children feel at ease and, hopefully, enjoy a visit to the doctor’s office. Our staff also provides guidance and support to the parents to ensure that they understand and trust the care their children receive.
